Getting away

Aaron and I had the awesome opportunity of taking a two day, two night trip to the beach to celebrate both our 10 year anniversary and my 30th birthday. Both of which are this month. We had such a wonderful time! It has been quite awhile since we have gone anywhere alone so this was a real treat. We stayed at a bed and breakfast at Newport called the Grand Victorian. I would highly suggest this bed and breakfast to any couple wanting to get away. The suite, which is what we stayed in, has a reasonable price and it includes a huge king size bed, a little TV/reading area, a small balcony that looks out to the ocean, and a large bathroom with a humongous jacuzzi tub. The owner cooked us a very big and yummy breakfast and every night she has a dessert waiting. This trip was so good for us. Aaron has been my best friend since high school and this weekend reminded me of that. Since it was my birthday weekend Aaron let me pick most of what we did or watched. I let him pick the movie because I didn't really care to much. Plus I sorta wanted to bless him in return for his sweetness to me. The down side to all of this, however, is that now we are missing each other. I guess we got a little spoiled. This was one of the best birthday presents I have every gotten! Thank you Hone!
