Learning and growing!

Wow, I can't believe it has been an entire month since I last did a post. Just as many of you are experiencing in one way or another, school is in full swing. Wow, is this a new world for us! In some ways I am enjoying the new schedule. I am naturally not a very scheduled person but now I am forced to be. Every day I am so blessed that Aaron takes Emilie and Eli to school. This came straight from the hand of God, as I am sure He knows how very hard it is for me to get anywhere exactly on time. Every morning there is a slight ache in my heart as I say good bye to Em and Eli. Remember, this is the first year I have had any of my kids away from me. I treasure after school time and weekends. Honestly, the transition has gone quite well. I do miss the kids but I have seen great things happening in them. Emilie is learning to be more responsible in remembering things and getting homework done. She is almost always happy and cheerful after school. She really looks forward to art, music, and computer class. She is really enjoying it. Eli has made many friends and is some what of a leader according to his computer teacher. He comes home exhausted because he is always giving 110%. Grace, Anderson, and I are starting to get into a rhythm of sorts. Although, as I now remember, having a baby makes life a little unpredictable. I am having to readjust my expectations of myself and that can be hard. As in most of our lives, not everything is easy shmeasy, but I am needing to focus on the positive things in life right now and what better way than to blog about them. My prayer for the kids and Aaron and I has been that the joy of the Lord would be our strength. I miss you my friends!!!!

Oh, I forgot to mention that our computor when out so we are using an old modom that Kari lent to us. The very big bummer right now is that I cannot put any pictures on. I think this is one reason why I haven't blogged lately. Pictures are half the fun. So, for probably quite awhile you may just have to suffer through my wordy blogs.

Wordy Blogs are great! It is good to read how the kids are growing and developing the talents and strengths God gave them. It's good to read how you are doing and feeling and it is GREAT for you to "let it out" on the blog! ;-)
