Alive and well!

Okay, so I am back, at least for today. :) We had a great Christmas and a fun new year. We are all healthy and excited about this new year. I am still battling a little nausea but over all I can't complain. Some older women in my bible study were talking about their daughters and daughter-in-laws that have been very sick, not to mention suffering from migraines. So, overall I know I am blessed. We as a family have much to look forward to this year. Of coarse we have the baby coming in July. We are all getting more and more excited. I know I am! Aaron is on track to graduate this May with his bachelors degree in "Business Administration." Aaron has been working so hard and has earned A's and B's in all his classes so far....mostly A's . I am so proud of him. Aaron uses his gifts from God and doesn't waste them. He sets goals and works hard to meet them. He has got determination and focus. Sometimes I wish that the unity of husband and wife could include the sharing of our gifts to one another. I could sure use a little more drive at times. Anyway, back to Aaron. :) I am amazed at how he can do his work so efficiently. I can't wait to see how God uses him after this goal is met. Who knows, maybe he will go for his masters!!!:)
The baby news is that I am now 15 weeks. I think today is the last day I can rubber band my pants. Maternity clothes here I come. Actually, I have been wearing some simply for comfort. I really don't care for pressure on my stomach when I am not feeling well. We have decided to find out the sex of the baby. The date set for this is Feb. 7th. We are all very much looking forward to this date!!! The plan is to have the ultrasound tech. write the sex on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope. Then, we will all go out to lunch and Emilie will open the envelope and read the note. I got this idea from my brother and sister-in-law. It should be fun! Aaron got me a new camera for Christmas, which was a great gift considering we were given our old camera used and it just started to "act funny". The problem is that we do not have the right attachment yet to make it easy to transfer pictures to the computer. So, I may not have pictures to share for awhile.
The kids are doing great and I have really been enjoying them. I have been asking God for renewed joy in mothering and MAN, has He blessed me with just that. I have been taking advice from some old testament stories I have been reading with the kids. Men and women were so bold with the Lord back then. God already knows what we are thinking. We might as well go ahead and speak it out loud. A verse that has been going through my head a lot during this busy and pregnant time is, " The joy of the Lord is my strength." Joy really does give me strength. Not to say that I have loads of strength right now because truthfully, I don't. Pregnancy tends to wear me out quite a bit but when I am feeling cranky and tired and I remember that verse, my spirit gets a little lift. I actually need to close up this post because I suddenly feeling very tired and getting to tired can make me feel nauseous. It is nice to be back!
