Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving something happened that has not happened in at least 19 years. My Dad and Mom were at the same celebration with all of their children and grandchildren. I have not seen my Mom and Dad in the same room talking since I was 12 years old. This is something to be Thankful for indeed. I won't pretend that it was all really comfortable because it wasn't but it was a blessing none the less. I was proud of my Mom and Dad for how they handled themselves. Thank you God for working in ways we don't always see. I also want to thank Asa and Heidi for having us over to their house. Heidi made all the food for Aaron, me and the kids, my Dad, and her own kids and husband. That is a lot of people. She worked very hard and we women know all the preparation that goes into large meals. I am also thankful that I did not have to cook the turkey this year as raw meat is sending my stomach into a whirl right now. :)

I have to share this. I was blessed by a friend who had no idea what has been going on inside my spirit. Her obedience to the Holy Spirit was an answer to a prayer of mine the other day. I needed some reassurance of God's love and He gave it at just the right time. If you are needing a touch from the Lord ask Him for one and wait with your heart and eyes wide open. He wants to show His love for you.

John 16:24

"Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete."

Deuteronomy 7:9

"Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands."

Anna, I will be praying for you... I respect you so much for the amazing mommmy and wife that you are. Hang in there and don't be too hard on yourself. Growing a little one is hard work and you need your rest! I pray that the JOY of the LORD will be your strength. Love you dear sister!
