Alaska

Four days ago we arrived home from a week long cruise to Alaska. We had a great time....not perfect....but great! I am not sure any vacation is without it's unexpected elements. It has taken us these last four days to recover from the vacation. It is always so strange how we come home from vacations needing a break. Has this been your experience? Well, we are all starting to get back into the groove and it is nice to be home. It is comforting to be back in our home and in our own beds. This cruise was a splurge for us to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Our real anniversary is in August but we celebrated a little early and even though there were some struggles, (ie. motion sickness, active 5 year old boy needing a place to run) I am so happy we got the opportunity to go on this cruise and I smile when I think of our time in Alaska. I am working on having more of a glass half full perspective on life because truthfully, it's the way we chose to see our circumstances that changes the adjectives used to discribe them. Love to you all!
P.S. When I figure out how to put more pictures on...I will!

What fun!

SO understand the needing to run! I am rethinking my summer schedule for this and some time to sit and use those little brains...to much free time on our end of things. :)

Glad you are home safe, and that you enjoyed it. Can't wait to see more pictures!!
